Well it's nice to have a little rain to break up the warm summer we have had and certainly is a nice thing to run in after those many warm days a couple of weeks ago.
Well I've gotten the word from a couple ever vigilant members that there is a fence around the Greenlake track so we won't be able to use it again until December if I remember correctly. Not a problem though, there are many things we can do with out a track which will give you more diversity in your training and give you the same results.
This week we'll meet at the track as always so that I can pass the word about my plan for us to meet at the Roosevelt H.S. track next week and see if that is something we would be able to use. If that doesn't work out then we'll continue to meet at the greenlake track and go from there, as I mentioned it's really not a problem as I can cook up a variety of workouts that we can do on the road plus of course the hills aren't fenced off.
Tomorrow night we'll meet at inglemore H.S over there in Kirkland for the 2mi TT that the eastsiders missed last week. Been a tough year for us track wise as the Juanita HS track that we use for Wednesday night workout has been closed for resurfacing all the last few weeks but I think it will be back next week or so hopefully.
Most of you are still working out on hills so none of this is an issue. For those that are on the (should be)track I'll give you a good workout for you to do around the play fields tonight.
