Mid Week, New Chuckit site (beta)

Ok only three weeks until the Super Jock n Jill Half Marathon, if you haven't entered and are worried about a tee shirt then you better get on the stick as they usually run out. it's one of better shirts out there so is often coveted.

Am still having trouble accessing the roster so I'm going to have to either recreate it or come up with another alternative so I'm still unable to create the weekly workouts for now.

We'll be running over to Roosevelt HS tonight for those on the track to check out the scene. Those still running hills can continue on at Woodland Park. Regina will be there for those so that you don't get lonely.

Tomorrow night we'll check out the track at Juanita HS and see if they are done resurfacing.

For awhile now I've need to do a major update on the web site. I started it yesterday and it is still a major work in progress. http://runningnw.com you'll notice a community area that you can log in with your facebook account and has many of the functions you'll find on face book, many I have to implement. Take a look. Of course your feedback is appreciated as you use this site more than I do. I hope also to be able to come up with another option for the roster. I may be able to do it with the community modual. Will test that out.

A couple in the group David and Carol (the Peterman's) have started a new business http://www.tablefare.com and are offering a great deal for all members here is the info on that.

Chuck,

We have finally launched our company and want to offer our running buddies a special introductory discount on their very own SpiceCare spice storage system. Below is a brief description of our product, but more information can be found on our website, www.TableFare.com . Also, here is a link to a short video I posted on my blog showing how I use SpiceCare in my kitchen.

The official description:

SpiceCare is an elegantly simple, superbly functional spice storage solution, great for everyone from casual cooks to serious chefs. Multiple sizes of interlocking containers keep spices perfectly organized on a counter, in a cupboard or laying flat in a drawer. Made from high-quality polycarbonate, the containers are crystal clear, won't chip or break and are dishwasher safe. Each container comes with a spoon-leveling lid, or can be fitted with a shaker screen and flat lid. A brushed stainless steel clip holds a paper label that can easily transfer to another container. An airtight seal keeps contents fresh. Spices not included.
