I put up a photo gallery from this weeks mid week workout. Last night after the workout 18 if our members went out for pizza to wish a couple (Geoff and Nancy Dunbar) from the group good luck in their move to California. They had put a list of their favorite sayings (chuckisms) that I use (appearently a lot) and once that got started everyone from the table had one or two so we put a list together that I'm sharing here.
- Don't slap your feet
- Don't do your long runs too fast.
- Consistency.
- It's ok to wake up with a little chuckie.
- Don't buy anyhting new the day of the race.
- The first few miles during the race should be easy.
- Run like you have ski poles in your hands.
- If you want to run fast you have to run fast.
- use your arms to run faster.
- "what are you carring all that crap for"?? (water and Gu)
- I'm getting alot of complaints from people that their times aren't improving
- Ice it.
- They've got the love injury(new boy friend or girl friend)
- Wedding and babies kill my business
Good luck Geoff and Nanacy it's been a pleasure getting to know you guys and being able to help you with your runniung and of course being able to chare my Chuckism's with you.
